Tender Meatballs with Nutriday Tzatziki and Flatbread

It’s a match made in heaven with these easy-to-make meatballs and Nutriday inspired flatbread and tsatziki.

INGREDIENTS:

  • MEATBALLS 
  • Breadcrumbs 
  • Nutriday Plain Yoghurt
  • Minced Meat
  • Garlic
  • Eggs
  • Parmesan
  • Parsley
  • Onion
  • Worcestershire/Soy Sauce
  • Oregano 
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Red Pepper Flakes
  • TZATZIKI
  • Grated Cucumber
  • Nutriday Plain Yoghurt
  • Olive Oil
  • Mint/Dill
  • Lemon Juice
  • Garlic
  • Salt
  • FLATBREAD
  • Cake Flour
  • Nutriday Plain Yoghurt
  • Baking Powder
  • Salt

METHOD:

MEATBALLS:

  1. Mix breadcrumbs with yoghurt.
  2. Combine with meat, garlic, eggs, parmesan, herbs, onion, and sauce.
  3. Add spices and mix.
  4. Form meatballs and bake at 218°C for 10-12 minutes.
  5. Serve with Tzatziki and Flat Bread.

TZATZIKI:

  1. Squeeze liquid from cucumber.
  2. Mix all ingredients.
  3. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  4. Refrigerate until served.

FLATBREAD

  1. Mix dry ingredients with yoghurt.
  2. Knead dough and divide into 9 pieces.
  3. Roll out each piece.
  4. Cook on high heat for 2 minutes per side.
